Questions are taken from the Arizona Driver License Manual. This is a DHSMV rule over which we have no control, and it is intended to ensure that fraud in the online testing environment is kept to a minimum. This sample test is designed to help you check your knowledge of the information needed to obtain an Arizona driver license or instruction permit. If you are selected for re-testing in person, you will be required to pass, regardless of any passing score you received on the online test. Note: Even if you pass the online driver license test, you still might be randomly selected by DHSMV to take the test again in person when you go to the driver license or tax collector’s office to apply for your learner’s permit. If you are unsuccessful after three attempts, you will be required to take the test in person at your local driver license or tax collector’s office. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) allows up to three (3) online attempts at the exam to achieve a passing score.

If you choose to take the exam again, you will need to register again and create a new account in our system. If you do not pass, you will be given an opportunity to study the handbook further and/or register to take the test again. These restrictions are part of Florida’s graduated driver licensing system.

You will also be restricted to driving during certain hours until you have had your license for a certain period of time. Your learner’s license will allow you to drive with certain restrictions in place for example, whenever you are driving, you must be accompanied by a licensed driver who is at least 21 years old and occupies the front passenger seat of the vehicle. As long as you have also completed the TLSAE course, you will be eligible to get your Florida learner’s license. We recommend you print that page and bring it with you to the driver license / tax collector’s office just in case they have any trouble finding your test result. Immediately after passing the exam, our system reports the result electronically to the Florida DHSMV system and you will be given a confirmation page that contains your testing information.
